Twitter to start removing legacy blue verification checkmark
Twitter will start removing legacy blue check marks for individuals and organisations on its platform from April 1. Those who want a blue tick on their profiles can purchase a Twitter Blue subscription for $8 per month. Along with the blue checkmark, users will also be able to see fewer ads, bookmark their folders, write long tweets, edit tweets and undo tweets. In addition to the blue check , users can purchase other badges or check marks that denote their account type. On April 1st, we will begin winding down our legacy verified program and removing legacy verified checkmarks.
