Jurrien Timber injury: Progress & potential return date for Arsenal defender

Jurrien Timber had dreamed of playing for Arsenal since his days in Ajax's academy. Upon his £38m move to the Premier League runners-up, the Amsterdam side released a video of a young Timber. When asked which club he might move to in the future - which, as an aside, shows the selling mentality of Ajax - Timber answered: "I've always been a fan of Arsenal ." Despite challenges, the decision to return to teaching was not difficult for Mercedes Salas. Former Robb Elementary School teacher Mercedes Salas can still recall the hours leading up to the mass shooting at the school on May 24, 2022, that claimed 21 lives. For 44 minutes, she remained on her knees and tightly held on to her Virgen de Guada...

On Feb. 9, the Warriors put out a release that Curry would be reevaluated after the All-Star break.  It provided a glimmer of hope that Curry might be able to return after the break , which will be almost three weeks since the injury , but that hope was dashed on Monday when Curry told reporters that he will not be ready for Golden State's first Game , against the Lakers, after the All-Star break .  "It's all dictated around how this heals," Curry said. "This is different than the shoulder (injury), where it was pretty predictable where I would be able to get to a point where I could play and not re-injure it or put myself in jeopardy out there on the floor. This one's different because ligaments can heal on all different ...
