Mikel Arteta determined to fix Arsenal's poor record at Anfield

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has described this weekend as an ‘opportunity’ to end the club’s poor recent record at Anfield when they face an inconsistent Liverpool in the Premier League . The Gunners have not won a game at Anfield in any competition since a league visit in September 2012 almost 11 years ago. Of the 12 times they have been to the red side of Merseyside since, eight have ended in Liverpool wins, with four draws. In 2020, Arteta’s Arsenal won at Old Trafford for the first time since 2006, while the recent north London derby victory was their first away at Tottenham since 2015. Arsenal have won their last three trips to Stamford Bridge, but prior to 2021 hadn’t won there since 2011. Anfield remains the next one to tick off in terms of big away wins for Arteta. The latest curated exhibit at the Jamestown Art Center will be held from April 21 to June 15, 2023. Opening reception will be April 21st from 5:30 to 7:30pm and curated by Lara Pan. Lara Pan is an independent curator, writer and researcher based in New York. Her research focuses on the intersection between art, Science , Technology and paranormal phenomena. An Intersection of Art and Science: A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall My conception of this project was a uniquely spontaneous and intuitive process that connected an imaginative vision of historical facts with the rich cultural heritage of Rhode Island, especially the city of Newport. The title of the exhibition— A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall, taken from the Bob Dylan song written sixty years ago during the summer of 1962—was no accident.
